The Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, issued an order barring P.A security heads in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip from holding talks with foreign parties, unless talks are conducted through the Minister of Interior and National Security General Nasser Yousef. ÂÂ
The order was distributed to all Palestinian security devices, effectively immediately barring all sorts of talks regardless of reasons behind these talks.
A Palestinian security source stated that the orders includes barring all international, regional and talks with Israel, and that it was made to unify the Palestinian decision and sources of contact.
