An informed Palestinian source said Palestinian Prisoners have suspended their hunger strike in all jails except for the Be’er Sheva prison.
The source said prisoners are currently holding negotiations in all jails including the Be’er Sheva prison with the Israeli Prison Authorities.
The chair of the media committee of the prisoners told Palestine News Network (PNN) in a phone call from the prison that a press conference will be held in Ramallah where the Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs Hisham Abdul Raziq will announce the results of the negotiations.
The prisoners confirmed that they will not stop the strike until the administration agrees to their demands.
Palestine News Network said there have been secret negotiations with the prisoners that the Israeli suthorities refrained from publishing fearing the reaction of the Israeli society, and said that what Israel is telling their people is very different from what they say in the negotiations.
