The Palestinian Prisoners Society reported that Dr. Majeda Fidda was transferred on Wednesday to administrative detention for a period which is not fixed yet.
The society reported that the Israeli soldiers arrested Dr. Fidda, member of the women’s association, on her return from Jordan.
Dr. Fidda went through interrogation for one month.
Palestinian pharmacists’ syndicate in Nablus area condemned the Israeli decision considering it a direct violation to international laws, and said that she is a social activist and does not have any political preference.
The syndicate considered the Israeli decision as a direct breech of human rights principles.
The Syndicate, along with human rights organizations pledged to lobby for the detained pharmacist’s release.
