Army withdrew Thursday from Yebna refugee camp in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, leaving mass destruction and scene of leveled homes.
The invasion was carried out Tuesday against the camp and in Rafah under military claims of searching for tunnels used by the resistance for smuggling weapons and combat materials.
A report released by the Palestinian Police in Gaza , revealed that 19 homes were destroyed, a significant number of homes completely demolished, additional four stores were burnt and massive destruction to the infrastructure, completely destroying street, power suppliers, water pipes, phone lines, and sewerage systems.
The report released by the police revealed the following names of residents who lost their homes in the military operation:
• Taiseer Haneef, home completely demolished, (three-story-building).
• Fawzi Haneef, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Mohammad Al-Fir’, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Imsail Al-Kurd, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Hasan Abu Hilal, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Younis Al-Firi’, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Issa Al-Firi’, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Salameh Al-Hamss, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Nitham Al-Hamss, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Omar Shaqfeh, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Ahmad Sa’id, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Ashraf Al-Sukkar, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Sa’id Shaqfeh, home completely demolished; one floor.
• Mohammad Al0Milahy, home completely demolished; one floor.
• The sports Clubs, completely demolished.
• Majed Al-Hamss, partially demolished, four floors.
• Aadel Al-Houly, home partially demolished; one floor.
• One mosque partially damaged.
Addition four stores were demolished during the military operation, the stores belong to Rashid Abu-Taha, Sabri Abu-Tyour, and Samir Dhabban.
