Monday morning, Israeli soldiers killed a resident on al-Kafriyyat checkpoint, south of Tulkarem.

The WAFA news agency reported that soldiers fired at the residents killing him immediately, and barred the ambulance from reaching him.

According to the Israeli army radio, the man approached soldiers at the roadblock while carrying a knife in his hand, ‘soldiers opened fire at the man after he refused to adhere to their calls for him to stop”, army radio reported.

An Israeli ambulance was called to the scene later on, and declared the man dead.

The resident was identified as Omar Motee’ Asrawi, 25 years old, and a father of three children.
