Monday evening, a resident of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, died of wounds sustained after the army shelled the area, last year.

The WAFA news agency reported that Mahmoud Hamdan Abu Sha’ar was critically injured in his abdomen after the army invaded and shelled al-Barazil neighborhood in Rafah.

Abu Sha’ar was hospitalized in several local hospitals, and then was transferred to Egypt; after his health condition seriously deteriorated, he was transferred to an Israel hospital were died on Monday evening.
