The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas demanded the US president George Bush to take a clear stance on the Road Map plan after Israel completes its Gaza Withdrawal.

Abbas said that he will demand President Bush, during his upcoming visit to the States,  to implement two main issues; political support of the Palestinian demands, and economical support.

Abbas added that the P.A hopes to receive fast economical support in order to rebuild the Palestinian areas, and revive the Palestinian destroyed economy.

Commenting on statements of Sharon’s office denying a meeting between Abbas and Sharon on June 7, Abbas said that the date was suggested through talks between the two sides, “It was a suggestion; they can take it or leave it”, Abbas added.
