Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers attacked a peaceful protest against the Wall in Bil’in organized by physically challenged residents from several West Bank areas.

The WAFA news agency reported that soldiers attacked the peacefully protesting handicapped residents and fired gas bombs at them.

Abdullah abu Rahma, coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall, reported that soldiers attacked the protestors and dispersed them by force in spite of their calls that they are holding a peaceful protest.

Abu Rahma stated that soldiers arrested one paralyzed resident, identified as Rafeeq Abu Sayfen, from Jenin, in addition to member of the Committee Mohammad al-Khateeb, his brother Akram, and Abdul-Fattah Bornat, a father of one of the handicapped protestors.
