Thursday afternoon, the Popular Committee Against the Wall, and Salfit municipality, organized a procession against the Separation Wall in Salfit and the surrounding areas.

Israeli soldiers attacked the peacefully protesting residents, Israeli and international peace activists and attempted to bar them from reaching the bulldozed fields, and wall construction area.
 
Nasfat al-Khafsh, coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall said that soldiers fired gas bombs and rubber coated bullets at the protestors, and attacked dozens of youth.
 
Al-Khafsh added that soldiers arrested four protestors, including two Israelis, and an American peace activist.
 
Tahseen Isleymiyya, head of Salfit municipality said that thirty residents received first aid after inhaling gas fired by the army during clashes which erupted after soldiers attacks the protestors.
 
Seven residents were hospitalized, and one resident was transferred to Sheikh Zayed hospital in Ramallah after soldiers severely punched and clubbed him, causing serious injuries.  
 
The Israeli army uprooted 6500 Dunams of farmlands since the construction of the Separation wall started in Salfit area, and the Wall which surrounds Ariel settlement, north of Salfit area. ÂÂ
