Palestinian Medical sources at the ‘Aqsa Martyrs’ hospital (formerly Al-Shifa) in Gaza city that four Palestinians have been killed and one seriously injured on Saturday afternoon as Israeli Air Force Apaches fired missiles at the car they were riding in Gaza City.
The blast which seems to be an assassination occurred in Al-Sheikh ‘Ijleen area on the Gaza coast.
The source said the bodies arrived to the hospital with severe distortion and were identified as Abdul Rahman Ayesh, Hassan Abu Dalal, Mahmoud Abu Namous and Mohammad Abu Zaru.
A source in the popular resistance committees said that three of the assassinated are field leaders of the resistance, whereas the fourth is a bystander who was driving his bicycle when the car was bombarded.
Medical sources at Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City said, a fifth youth brought to the hospital suffering serious injuries as a result of the blast, identified as Mahmoud Ghoneim 23 years old.
National and Islamic resistance groups warned that they would not accept any cease-fire attempt if Israel does not stop the targeted killing which harvested the lives of hundreds of the resistance operatives and leaders.
On the other hand, earlier Saturday, Israeli army killed a 16 year-old Palestinian girl in Gaza Strip.
Halima Odeh Abu Samahdaneh took a bullet to the head when troops opened fire in the Shabura district of the impoverished town close to the Israeli-controlled border with Egypt, Palestinian medics and witnesses said Saturday.
Witnesses said it was unclear why the Israeli troops had fired as there were no clashes under way at the time of the shooting.
An Israeli military source said army was unaware of the shooting, but acknowledged that troops had opened fire elsewhere in Rafah after the detonation of a roadside bomb.
