An Israeli military source reported that soldiers started evacuating military posts soldiers used in Palestinian institutions after controlling them, in the West Bank city of Hebron.
According to the source, soldiers started evacuating from schools in Jabal Johar area, east of the Ibrahimi mosque.
The army reported that soldiers evacuated these posts in order to reduce direct contact with the Palestinian residents
No final date was set for completing the evacuation of all posts which was taken over by the army since the beginning of the Intifada, late September 2000.
