The Quartet called Thursday Israel to allow Palestinians freedom of movement in the territories prior to the disengagement from Gaza, Israel Radio reported.
‘Israel must take immediate steps to ensure free movement of people and goods between Gaza and Judea and Samaria, in order to facilitate rejuvenation and rebuilding in the territories.’
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana and Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, who’s countries drafted the roadmap peace plan were meeting in London.ÂÂ
