Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will meet Wednesday with the heads of the defense establishment to discuss the progress of the separation wall.
On Tuesday his Defense Minister, Shaul Mofaz, ordered the acceleration of the construction of the West Bank barrier, with top priority given to completing the wall around Jerusalem.
He also ordered defense ministry officials to step up their efforts to resolve legal problems holding up construction of several segments of the wall.ÂÂ
At the Wednesday meeting Sharon was expected receive a comprehensive report on achievements and problems with the project and a projection of the time needed to complete the work.
