As the date for Israel’s Gaza evacuation gets closer, some settlers at the Elei Sinai settlement in Gaza have become more desperate in their struggle against the Israeli government. Settlers pronounced Thursday that they are planing on wearing death camp uniforms resembling those Jews were forced to wear by Nazis during WWII. The uniforms have a yellow star of David on the arms and a derogatory word for ‘Jew’ written on it.

A settler explained to The Jerusalem Post that he will wear it because he won’t ‘enter the camps the government set up for us,’ critizing it for being ‘prepared for the withdrawal but not for re-absorbing the settlers.’ A spokesperson for the Elei Sinai settlement denounced the settlers’ plan saying it has caused anger among members of the settlement.
