Israeli soldiers invaded Tulkarem refugee camp and the eastern neighborhood of Tulkarem, and conducted military searches of homes; army claims searching for wanted resistance fighters.

A local source in Tulkarem reported that soldiers, accompanied by two troop carriers, invaded the camp and broke into dozens of homes, using some of them as monitoring towers.

The source stated that soldiers installed a roadblock near the southern entrance of Thannaba village, stopped dozens of residents and vehicles and searched them.

One resident, identified as Mohammad Mousa Ofa, 22, was hospitalized at Thabit Thabit Hospital in the city suffering from fractions and bruises to several parts of his body.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli soldiers invaded Saida village, after surrounding it barring the residents from entering or leaving it.

 

On Monday at night one youth was killed, several residents were injured in Nour Shams refugee camp, near Tulkarem after Israeli soldiers invaded it and fired rounds of live ammunition at dozens of homes.

A medical source in Tulkarem stated that Tamer As’ad Zandeeq, 18, sustained a live round in his head causing instant death, at least two other residents were injured.
