Ofer Israeli military court extended the detention of Sheikh Khader Adnan, the spokesperson of the Islamic Jihad in the West Bank for another month.
Lawyer Elia Theodore, who represents Adnan, said that the court ordered the continued detention of Sheikh Adnan until September, 21, 2005.
Theodore added that the court intends to charge Adnan of membership of the Islamic Jihad, membership of an Islamic group in Bir Zeit University, where he is studying, and being the spokesperson of the Jihad in the West Bank.
Sheikh Adnan enrolled to Bir Zeit University post graduate program to obtain MA in business.
The sheikh was arrested six times by the Israeli army, and spent several years in detention, and was also detained once by the P.A.
