The United Arab Emirates officially denied reports published by the Israeli media concerning opening an Israeli diplomatic mission in Dubai, and confirmed its commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative which conditions normalization with Israel with its full withdrawal from the occupied territories since 1967.
The UAE said that it and its people reject normalization with Israel, since it still did not recognize the Palestinian legitimate rights of independence and establishing a Palestinian independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.ÂÂ
Recently, Israeli media reported that Israel opened a secret diplomatic mission in Dubai, and that three Israeli diplomats, carrying foreign passports, moved to the UAE with their families after obtaining permission from local authorities in Dubai.
Also, Israel said that the Emirates plays and important role in marketing the Israeli High-tech products.
