Israeli Special Forces arrested, on Thursday evening, a Palestinian lawyer and a teacher after ambushing them in Singer area between Doura and Hebron in the West Bank, soldiers installed dozens of checkpoints in the Hebron and around it.

A local source in Hebron reported that under-cover military units attacked a vehicle, forced the passengers out, and arrested lawyer Jamal Abdul-Hamid Shadeed, 38, from Doura, and Majed Issa Marqa, 40, a teacher working in Hebron, and took them to an unknown destination.

Also, soldiers surrounded Jaber neighborhood, east of Hebron, and used loud speakers to call the residents out of their homes, and detained dozens of residents, especially the youth.

Soldiers forced dozens of residents into military camions, and took them to a military post near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city, and interrogated them for several hours before releasing them.  

Dozens of vehicles were stopped and searched on several roadblocks which were installed in different neighborhoods in Hebron, especially in Nimra area, Abu Sneina neighborhood and Khallit Hadhour, in the south of Hebron.
