The WAFA News Agency reported that two units of the Israeli paratroops were deployed in Al-Bathan village north of the West Bank city of Nablus.
Head of the village Council, Mohammad Salahat, stated that the paratroopers were dropped in the area, which also witnessed intensive military presence.
Soldiers installed roadblocks and sudden checkpoint since early morning hours, and conducted military searches of vehicles; dozens of residents were detained and interrogate for several hours.
