Youth injured near Nablus

Israeli soldiers shot and injured a Palestinian Youth near the West Bank city of Nablus.

An Israeli military source claimed that soldiers shot on Sunday a Palestinian youth after attempting to stab a soldier with a knife at Beit Forik checkpoint, near Nablus.

“The youth approached the checkpoint, carrying a knife in his hand, yelling Allahu Akbar (God is Great)”, the source said. 

The youth sustained a gunshot injury in his leg, and was transferred by a Red Crescent Society ambulance to an Israeli hospital.

An Israeli security source said that the youth will be interrogated later on.
