A Palestinian company announced, in a press release distributed in the Gaza Strip, its plans to provide internet service for users via the electricity network lines.
If implemented, this would be the first kind in the Medial East.
The new technology will allow internet users to surf the net with no extra costs on the phone bill and there will be no need to use phone lines. Users will only need to have electricity lines and to install a low-price modem.
Internet users will be abele to connect their modems to the electricity socket and get online, the company reported.
This technology will be implemented and activated by Palestinian engineers and experts, the company said.
