Israeli army closed Tuesday at dawn two charitable societies in the West Bank city of Jinin and claimed that they transferred money to the Islamic Jihad movement, to use it in financing suicide bombings, an Israeli military source reported.
 
Also, troops controlled a number houses in the nearby town of Qabatia and used them as monitoring towers, Palestinian sources reported.
 
Israeli soldiers have been operating in Qabatia, over the last two weeks; four Palestinians were killed, dozens were injured, and arrested.
