Israeli tanks shelled, on Tuesday morning, several areas Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing one resident.
A medical source in Khan Younis reported that soldiers based near the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip fired several shells at dozens of Palestinians homes in Abasan Al Jadeeda, east of Khan Younis.
Resident Mohammad Ahmad Al Farra, 45, was killed after being directly hit by a tank shell which severely mutilated his body. Al Farra was farming when the shell hit him.
Also, soldiers shelled with heavy artillery several homes in the area, especially in the eastern outskirts of the city.
