Israeli Prison Authorities in Hasharon detention facility barred, on Thursday, the family of detainee Hani Tawfiq Mansour, 27, from visiting him after confining him to solitary imprisonment.

The detainees informed the family of Mansour that he was placed to solitary and that the administration barred him from his visitation rights for six weeks.

Mansour was sentenced to 17 years for membership and activities with the Islamic Jihad Movement.

He is suffering from Asthma and anemia and is not receiving any medical care. His family appealed the Red Cross to visit their son and demanded that he received the needed medical care and attention, holding Israel responsible for any deterioration of his health conditions.
