Resident from Bethlehem sentenced to 14 months in jail

The Israeli military court of Ofer near the West Bank city of Ramallah sentenced a Bethlehem resident Bethlehem to14 months in jail and NIS 3000 fine.

Mahmoud Takatka 18, was arrested in September 2005 from his home in Om-Al Salamona village near Bethlehem and was taken to Ofer detention center since then, his family said.

Takatka was charged of participating in activities against the Israeli military.
