Israeli sources reported that soldiers shot injured and arrested one Palestinian man after he allegedly crossed the "electronic fence" in the northern Gaza Strip into Israeli borders.
The source added that soldiers suspected that the man wanted to infiltrate into Israel. He suffered an injury in his leg.
The man, who was unidentified, was not armed, army source said.
Apparently, the resident was attempted to enter the Israeli areas in an attempt o find work. He will be transferred for interrogation after receiving medical treatment, army added.
