Danni Ayalon, Israeli ambassador to the U.S, has sent two letters to the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times news papers slamming them for publishing articles by two Hamas leaders, Israeli media sources reported on Monday morning.
Hamas political bureau Chief, Khaled Mashal, published last week an article in the Los Angeles Times in which he stated that his movement will not recognize "the state that displaced the Palestinians and committed war crimes against them".
Deputy Chief of Hamas political bureau, Mousa Abu Marzouk, published and article in the Washington Post stating that the movement will negotiate with Israel, but will not accept any forced preconditions.
Ayalon refused to accept the two articles as free speech describing Hamas as a terrorist organization, adding that the movement represents "the New Nazis".
In his letter, Ayalon questioned the intentions of the editors of the two papers and whether they are "welcoming the Nazis and Hitler under the pretext of freedom of speech".
