After an armed attack by three Palestinian resistance fighters on Eretz border crossing terminal/military installation early Thursday morning in which one soldier was killed (according to resistance leaders) and six injured, and two of the Palestinian fighters were killed, Mohammad "Abu Khaild" Hijazi, a leader in the al-Aqsa Brigades Resistance movement, said that more attacks are planned.
Israeli sources denied that a soldier was killed, but confirmed the deaths of the two Palestinian fighters, who were identified as 18 year old Marwan Amar from Jabaliya Refugee Camp, a member of the Popular Resistance Committee, and 18 year old Mohammad Ramadan from the Al Aqsa Brigades.
The morning attack followed four days of aerial bombardment by Israel in the Gaza Strip, in which thirteen Palestinians were killed.

Two resistance fighters killed in Gaza during an attack on Eretz crossing
Two Palestinian resistance fighters were killed during a military operation targeting the Israeli border crossing of Eretz, in the northern part of the Gaza strip, on Thursday at dawn.
The attack was a joint resistance operation claimed by the The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades of Fatah and the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees.
According to a joint statement claiming responsibility for the attack, three fighters attacked the military installation at the Israeli border crossing. One escaped the scene, while two were killed. They were identified as Marwan Amar, 18, from the Popular Resistance Committees and Mohammad Ramadan, 18, from al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
Israeli army sources said that three armed Palestinians threw explosives and opened fire on soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip military installation. Soldiers opened fire, killing two. The Israeli Army also claimed that they found an explosives belt and disarmed it, no injuries were reported.
The army closed the crossing for Palestinian movement until further notice after the attack, an Israeli army source reported.
Palestinian medical sources reported that the Israeli army handed over the two bodies to Palestinian medical teams and the bodies were transported to the morgue at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza City.
