Thirty year old Amar Sheikh Aleid was killed Saturday morning when a tunnel he was working in collapsed, in Rafah, on the border between Gaza and Egypt. Another worker was injured and taken to Abu Yousef Al Najar Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Local sources said that Egyptian soldiers fired explosive gas into the tunnel from the Egyptian side of the border, however the reason for this remains unclear.
