Four Palestinians were arrested at Sofia border crossing south of the Gaza strip by the Israeli army on Thursday at dawn, a Palestinian security source reported.
An Israeli army source was quoted at the scene of the arrests saying that the arrestees were being charged with illegal entry into Israel.
During the chase near the military barrier fence two soldiers fell into a water well and sustained light to moderate injures. Both were moved to one of the hospitals south of Israel, the army source said.
