In a press release issued on Thursday morning, the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for firing seven homemade shells at Al-Magdal, a town near Nazareth in Israel.
The Brigades said a group of its fighters fired the shells in early Thursday morning as a response to the Israeli Army invasion of the West Bank city of Nablus and to the assassination of the Brigades who was killed in Nablus during the invasion.
Also the Brigades promised to conduct more attacks against Israeli targets, asserting that this attack is part of an operation movement called, "The Quake."
