On Wednesday, the British government condemned Israeli Air Force attack in Gaza, which resulted in the death and injury of Palestinian citizens, including three children.

In an official statement distributed by UK General Consulate in Jerusalem, a Foreign Office spokesperson said that ”Israel has the right to defend itself, but any actions it takes must be in accordance with international law and should be proportionate."

He added that "We have repeatedly expressed our concern about Israel’s policy on targeted killings, particularly the number of civilian casualties."
