The Israeli Police in Jerusalem claimed that policemen arrested an Arab woman from East Jerusalem after she allegedly attempted to stab a policeman in Ramat Gan area, earlier on Wednesday.
An Israeli source reported that the policeman was securing schools in the city along with other policemen and inspected a car that parked there.
Three passenger were in the car, and when the policemen asked them to step out one officer noticed a passenger carrying a large knife knife and approached a policeman standing near her, the Israeli police claimed.
The woman and the two other passengers were arrested, one of the passengers in from east Jerusalem while the other is from the Gaza Strip.
