A Palestinian medical source in Gaza reported on Friday evening that two Palestinians were killed in an explosion in the northern Gaza Strip, three residents were injured.
The two were apparently killed when a homemade shell detonated while they were carrying it, a Palestinian security source reported.
The two residents were identified as Ahmad Aqel, 22, and Ibrahim Qasem, 26; three other residents were injured in the blast, one seriously.
A Palestinian security source reported that the two residents are member of the Al Asa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh movement.
The two were killed as they were attempting to fire a homemade shell at an Israeli settlement near the Gaza Strip, the source stated.
