The Israeli military demolished on Tuesday a house in the West Bank city of Qalqiliia, local sources reported.
The Caterpillar D9 bulldozers, driven by Israeli soldiers, destroyed the home of Jammal Hamad, as well as his garden and pond, in Hija town east the city, under the pretext of having no building license.
Hamad told reporters that he had tried for years to obtain a building license but the Israeli authorities repeatedly refused to grant him one.
Israeli authorities often use the excuse of a lack of building licenses for the demolition of homes, although no building licenses have been granted to Palestinians since 1967.
