Residents of the West Bank village of Beit Siera, west of Ramallah, Israeli and international peace activists protested on Friday afternoon against the annexation Wall Israel is constructing on the annexed orchards of the residents.
At least 150 protestors marched against the Wall and settlement expansion in the area. Soldiers claimed that the protestors hurled stones at them and that troops fired live rounds in the air to disperse them.
An Israeli military source reported that two soldiers were injured during the protest; one was hit with a stick while the other was bitten by one of the protestors after the soldiers attacked the peaceful porocession.
Israel continued the contruction of the annexation Wall in the West Bank ignoring the advisory ruling of the International Court of Justice, and is going on with its plans to annex more lands from the Palestinian in the West Bank for settlement construction and expansion.
