The Israeli Army Restricts the movement of Jordan Valley”s citizens.
Israeli Forces prevented citizens in al-Aghwar al-Shamaleya, in Jordan Valley, from leaving their villages to reach West Bank cities on Thursday.
Witnesses told the Palestinian WAFA News Agency that Israeli soldiers closed al-Hamra and Tayaseer checkpoints and banned the movements of farmers, students and patients.
For several days , the Al-Aghwar al-Shamaleya area has been under strict siege and is experiencing food shortages. Israeli forces have completely severed the Jordan Valley from the rest of the West Bank during the last year, in preparation for building the eastern section of the Israeli Annexation Wall, thus isolating Palestinians from Jordan by enclosing the Palestinian territory on both the West and the East.
