The Israeli army detonated a car and arrests its owner in the West Bank city of Nablus Saturday morning.
The care belongs to Raed Hanna, who works as an officer in the Palestinian Authority national forces, was detonated after claims by the army that they have found an explosive belt in it.
Hanna was arrested after troops stormed his family home and searched it," the army broke into our home at dawn and forced us out at gunpoint. They then searched the house and arrested my son Ra’ed. They returned again later and ordered us to leave the house again. They ordered us to stand a distance away from the house, while an Israeli expert exploded the car which was parked in front of the house." The father of Raed said.
He also added that "The Israeli jeeps were near the car at the time they broke into the house. If there were any explosives in the car they would not come close to it; they would have detonated the explosives from a distance.”
