Saturday afternoon, Israeli soldiers stationed near the annexation Wall adjacent to Jenin city, north of the West Bank, arrested a Palestinian man allegedly carrying a small pipe bomb.

According to the Israeli Army Radio explosive experts detonated the bomb in a controlled explosion, and that the man was arrested and transferred to an Israeli interrogation camp.
   
In a separate incident, Palestinian resistance fighters fired a homemade shell at the western Negev area, the shell apparently landed in an open area; no injuries were reported.

Soldiers shelled with heavy artillery an area in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. At least one resident was injured and hospitalized.  

Palestinian security sources reported that the shelling targeted Al Sha’af area, near Sheikh Ahmad Yassin Mosque, east of Gaza city.
