Israeli air force shelled on Wednesday night after midnight several main roads and agricultural roads leading to the northern borders between Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and Israel.
Eyewitnesses reported that at least three missiles were fired at Al Shaima’ street, which leads to the evacuated settlements, north of Beit Lahia.
The missiles caused partial damage to some buildings, and a gap in the main road.
Israel claims that the shelled area is used by Palestinian resistance fighters to fire homemade shells towards Israeli areas near the Gaza borders.
