A Palestinian security sources in the Gaza Strip reported that twelve Israeli military vehicles invaded the Al Fareheen area, south-east of Kahn Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and occupied a Palestinian security post. The attacked area is 500 meters away from the borders in southern Gaza.
Troops, supported by armored vehicles, invaded the area and opened fire at dozens of homes in the area. Two residents were injured, a medical source reported.
Dozens of resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading forces.
An Israeli surveillance plane fired a missile that landed near a house in the town of Abasan, near Khan Younis. No injuries were reported.
In Beit Hanoun in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli air force fired two missiles at open areas and a third missile at civilian area. No injuries were reported in the three attacks.
Artillery stationed at the northern borders fired several shells at open areas in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip. At least three resident suffered anxiety attacks after the Israeli air force dropped sound bombs several times on Saturday.
