Israeli forces shot and severely wounded a Palestinian citizen in the Gaza Strip city of Rafah Sunday morning, medical sources said.
Medics at Abu Youssif al-Najjar hospital reported that Amin Abu Sha’ar 30, of al-Shouka area east the city, was hit with a live bullet in his abdomen as Israeli soldiers stationed in the Gaza International Airport opened random fire at citizens’ houses. Abu Sha’ar was taken to the European hospital for treatment.
