Israeli troops and army vehicles stormed the village of Araba, south of the West Bank city of Jenin, Tuesday morning.

Local residents said soldiers, backed with five military jeeps, entered the village and searched several houses. Residents were stopped to check ID cards.

Troops also installed a military checkpoint at the Jenin-Nablus road near the village to stop and search vehicles. Passengers faced long delays as ID cards were checked.
