Israeli troops detained dozens of Palestinian residents for three hours in the hot sun at the Tayaseer checkpoint, east of the West Bank city of Tubas, after closing the checkpoint on Saturday.
Eyewitnesses reported that the soldiers deliberately kept the residents under the burning sun, without considering that there were many children, women, old men and sick people at the checkpoint.
