Israeli army bulldozers uprooted large areas of Palestinian orchards in the villages of Kufur Laqif and Azzoun east of the West Bank city of Qalqilia on Tuesday in preparation for the construction of the third phase of the annexation wall, which will be built deep inside Palestinian areas in the West Bank.
Majid Odwan, secretary of the Azzoun municipality said that Israeli bulldozers uprooted 250 dunums of land in Azzoun and Kufur Laqif, and added that the new path of the wall will separate the villagers from hundreds of dunums they own.
