A Palestinian medical source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis reported that Hasan Radwan Shaath, 70, and his son Ibrahim, 45, were killed after the Israeli air force shelled their home.
The bodies of the father and his son were severely mutilated. Several family members, including children were injured and buried under the rubble.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported Hasan received a phone call from someone who identified himself an Israeli military officer, who ordered him and his family to leave the house within one hour because the Israeli air force intends to shell it.
Less than 10 minutes after the phone call, the shells were dropped by an Israeli fighter-jet over the house.

The sources added that the Israeli air force shelled the house of Sa’id Joudah, one of the leaders of the Al Quds brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad. The house was leveled by the blast, and at least twelve residents were hospitalized.
A doctor a Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza said that some of the injured residents suffered serious injuries.
Eyewitnesses reported that the residents living in the house received a phone call from someone who identified himself as an Israeli military officer, and ordered them to evacuate the house within 15 minutes.
