Troops stationed at Kitsofem border crossing in the eastern Gaza Strip injured four Palestinian resistors on Monday morning, the Israeli army claimed.

The Israeli newspaper Yideot Ahranot reported that the army fired their heavy machine guns at a group of Palestinian resistors who were trying to fire homemade shells, injuring four of them.
    
Palestinian medical sources said that the Israeli tanks stationed on the borders of Gaza continued to shell residential areas on Monday in several parts of the Gaza strip, causing the injury of six civilians.

Yihia Al Loh and Mohamed Al Massri were injured when an army tank shell hit a house in the central Gaza area.  Also in Al Boraje refugee camp in Gaza, Israeli tanks targeted residents’ houses injuring two members of the same family, one lost his hand. No names have been issued yet.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian resistance group belonging to Fatah claimed responsibility for firing three homemade Qassam shells at the Kitsofem border crossing. The group did not mention any injuries among its men in the press release issued Monday morning in the Gaza strip.
