Israeli soldiers arrested on Tuesday, one Palestinian child in Tulkarem city, in the northern part of the West Bank. The arrest took place after the troops invaded the eastern neighborhood in the city.
The Maan News Agency reported that soldiers arrested Mohammad Fawzi Al Natour, 17, and took him to an unknown destination.
His parent told Maan that soldiers did not inform them that their child had been arrested and moved to an unknown destination. He was arrested in another area of the city.
Meanwhile, Defence For Children International – Palestine Branch, reported that since the outbreak of the Al Aqsa intifada in September 28, 2000, until August 16, 2006, Israeli troops arrested at total of 803 children.
Number of children who are still imprisoned by Israel is 450.
