Israeli navy ships fired, on Friday evening, heavy ammunition at several houses in Al Shaty’ refugee camp, west of Gaza City. The shelling caused damage in several houses and directly hit and electricity generators causing a blackout in the camp.
Dozens of residents fled their homes as the army started firing at them.
The shelling targeted an area along Gaza coast, the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported.
Rescue and civil defense teams rushed to the shelled area, two residents were injured.
