The Israeli army invaded the village of Tamon, east of the West Bank city of Tubas, on Thursday at dawn, and attacked several residents' houses.

Army vehicles and one bulldozer raided the village, soldiers attacked several houses by forcing the families out while searching and ransacking those houses.

Eyewitnesses said that soldiers told them that they were looking for 'wanted' people.  The residents added that troops fired live rounds and sound bombs inside the houses before searching them, causing a lot of damage to the residents' property.  No injuries were reported.

The soldiers took two prisoners, then left the village after having been there for several hours.
